- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Came here in mid march and it was stunning. Not too packed (as I imagine it would be in summer). A perfect spot for a family picnic and for swimming with little ones- the beach is an easy walk from the car park, the beach is sheltered and shallow, and there are shady picnic tables for a break out of the sun.
